Job Summary
The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of all real estate projects, properties, and associated operations. This role involves developing and implementing safety protocols, conducting training, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, and addressing hazards to ensure the well-being of employees, contractors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety Policy Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and update the company’s safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Site Inspections and Audits:
- Conduct regular inspections of properties and project sites to identify hazards.
- Prepare detailed safety audit reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Training and Education:
- Organize safety training programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure all personnel are familiar with emergency protocols and safety standards.
- Incident Response and Reporting:
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety-related incidents.
- Maintain records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Equipment and Material Safety:
- Monitor the use of safety equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
- Verify that materials used in construction and operations meet safety standards.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, property managers, and contractors to enforce safety measures.
- Serve as the point of contact for regulatory bodies during inspections.
- Risk Assessment:
- Conduct risk assessments for recent projects and ongoing operations.
- Develop mitigation strategies for identified risks.
