Overview:
The SAP CPI Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining integrations within SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). They are responsible for ensuring seamless communication among various systems, enabling efficient data flow and process integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing end-to-end integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
- Developing custom adapters and content-based routing in SAP CPI.
- Collaborating with functional and technical teams to gather integration requirements.
- Performing troubleshooting and debugging of integration issues.
- Configuring and monitoring integration flows within SAP CPI.
- Ensuring security and compliance standards are met in integration solutions.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation for integration designs and processes.
- Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
- Testing and optimizing integration solutions for performance and scalability.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) development.
- Robust understanding of integration concepts and patterns.
- Proficiency in Java programming for custom development within SAP CPI.
- Experience working with SAP Cloud Platform services and tools.
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, and other data formats used in integration.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug integration issues effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud integration best practices and security standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant SAP certifications in integration or related domains.
