Overview:
The SAP PI/PO Consultant plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration solutions to facilitate seamless integration between different systems. They are essential in ensuring the smooth flow of data across the organization's landscape, enabling efficient business processes and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design efficient solutions using SAP PI/PO.
- Implement, configure, and customize SAP PI/PO components, including adapters, mappings, and communication channels.
- Develop and maintain interfaces for various systems utilizing SAP PI/PO, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Provide technical expertise in EDI integration, working with X12 and EDIFACT standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for SAP PI/PO interfaces, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP PI/PO with SAP and non-SAP systems.




- Develop and maintain Java-based components and modules to enhance SAP PI/PO functionality.
- Optimize and fine-tune SAP PI/PO configurations to ensure effective message processing and routing.
- Document integration solutions, including technical specifications, test plans, and deployment procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, contributing to their technical growth and development.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP PI/PO implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of XML, XSLT, and other related technologies for data transformation.
- Proficiency in Java development to customize SAP PI/PO components and enhance functionality.
- Experience in integrating SAP PI/PO with SAP and non-SAP systems, including EDI and web service integration.
