We are hiring a Research Associate for a tier one law firm in Delhi. This role sits within the Research & Innovation function and focuses on delivering high-quality legal and policy research across multiple practice areas. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing capabilities, experience in academic or policy-driven work, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-focused setting.

The role offers exposure to diverse domains including Capital Markets, Foreign Policy, Investment Law, Cyber Law, Family Law, Insolvency & Bankruptcy (IBC), Dispute Resolution, Competition Law, M&A;, TMT, and IPR, with opportunities to contribute to publications, policy initiatives, and innovation projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft internal and external publications including articles, policy papers, position papers, and knowledge updates
- Conduct in-depth legal and policy research across multiple practice areas
- Prepare and present research papers at conferences, seminars, and professional forums
- Contribute to legislative and policy drafting initiatives




- Work on collaborative research reports and cross-functional projects
- Track legal, regulatory, and industry developments and share actionable insights
- Support knowledge management by maintaining research databases and internal repositories
- Contribute to innovation-led initiatives, including use of AI and legal tech tools

Candidate Profile
- 1–6 years of experience in legal research, academic writing, or policy work
- Demonstrated experience in publications (peer-reviewed or non-peer-reviewed)
- Exposure to one or more of the following areas: Capital Markets, Investment Law, IBC, Dispute, Competition, M&A;, TMT, IPR, Cyber Law, Family Law, or Foreign Policy
- Experience in policy engagement, legislative research, or regulatory advisory is preferred
- Familiarity with research tools, databases, and emerging AI-driven technologies is an advantage
- Strong writing, analytical, and presentation skill
