Responsibilities
 Writing reusable, scalable, testable and effective code in Node Js, Express and related
technologies.
 Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant RESTful API
system.
 Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
using RESTful APIs.
 Implementation of security and data protection.
 Automation - build and deployment of Node Js based REST API servers.

Skills and Qualifications
 4 or more years of strong coding proficiency with Node.js, Express and JavaScript.
 Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
 Understanding accessibility and security compliance.
 User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
 Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.




 Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
 Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop,
and optimizing output to match the specific platform.
 Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
 Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and JIRA.

Mandatory Skills
1. Node.js along with Express framework and JavaScript
2. RESTful APIs and their documentation (Swagger)
3. APIs test automation and test-driven development
4. Agile/Scrum based development with team handling.
5. Cache technologies like – Varnish, Redis, MongoDB IM.

Desirable skills
