The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in Python programming to automate various testing scenarios and enhance the overall testing framework. By collaborating closely with data engineers and analysts, the ETL Tester will play a key role in streamlining and optimizing data workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute ETL test strategies and methodologies.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
- Perform data validation and verification to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze and document discrepancies and issues arising during testing.
- Work closely with ETL developers to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of test plans and test cases.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data integration.
- Utilize SQL to query databases and validate data extraction processes.
- Implement performance and load testing on ETL processes.
- Maintain test environments and ensure data quality metrics are monitored.
