Job Description: Senior Software Engineering Manager – MMC (India)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead engineering delivery for the Money Movement Capability (MMC) application in India. This leader will play a critical role in building and scaling U.S. Bank's India engineering presence for MMC by managing a high-performing team of software developers and quality engineers, strengthening engineering practices, and partnering closely with U.S.-based leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

This is a managerial leadership role for a technically strong engineering leader who can operate with broad direction,



focus on the bigger picture, and drive execution across multiple domains. The ideal candidate combines deep technical experience with people leadership, architectural judgment, delivery rigor, and a strong understanding of payments systems. This role requires business knowledge in the Payments domain, including Zelle, RTP, and FedNow, along with the ability to build software products that are scalable, reliable, maintainable, and aligned to business strategy.
