Job Overview:
The Senior Structural Engineer uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the Structural (Eng) discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the Structural (Eng) discipline. The Senior Structural Engineer solves complex problems and uses their discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior Structural Engineer impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the Structural (Eng)



team and other related teams and ensures that they are working within the appropriate guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities
Key Task and Responsibilities:
- Experience in Analysis and Design of structures such as equipment foundations design and Software Knowledge of Staad Pro.
- Perform conceptual, FEED, Studies, and detailed analyses and design as per design basis, project specifications, design codes, and standards
- Direct Engineering team as a Lead Engineer on small projects
- Apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations
- Prepare transparent and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures
- Manage own time to meet agreed deadlines and budgets and develop plans for short-term work activities in own area
- Clearly communicate and explain complex issues and work to establish understanding
