Data Modeler JD
Responsibilities:
Data Modeler will involve in extracting, transforming and inputting data sets from various sources; creating predictive models, coding methods for monitoring models, communicating findings to concern person and translating nontechnical questions into quantifiable tasks.
Analyst will be working closely with client in order to access, overlay and draw insight from multiple data sources.
• Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
• Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
• Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.
• Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models.
• Updating and optimizing local and metadata models.
• Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency.




• Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems.

Key skills and experience
• Strong exposure to various data modelling methodology e.g. Data Vault, Dimensional modelling, canonical modelling etc.
• hands-on experience with physical and relational data modelling.
• Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
• Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
• Min. 3+ experience in any data modelling tool e.g. ERWIN, VISIO etc.
• Knowledge of SQL writing. Good to have exposure to Python.
• Robust interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Master/bachelor degree in mathematics or statistics Overview is sufficient, not a must
• Ability to effectively function in a cross teams environment

Good to Have

• Knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, SQL server, Power BI, Inrule
