Knorr-Bremse India Private Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse AG Germany which is more than 110 years old Company and world's leading manufacturer of braking systems for Rail and Commercial vehicles. Knorr-Bremse started its operation in India in 1993 and relocated to Palwal location in 2013, which is set up to cater to the growing demand in the Indian market.

Knorr-Bremse has built a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 17 Acres of land situated at 51/4 KM stone at main Mathura Road near Palwal. With optimized plant logistics and an improved working environment for employees, the new facility was built with an eye on maintaining the ecological balance. The plant conforms to Green building norms with energy-efficient air-conditioning and a high level of insulation. This helps reduce its carbon footprint,



which the company considers a part of its environment sustainability.

Must have BE or equivalent degree in Electronics Engineering with 5 to 7 years of experience and having below skill sets:

Technical skills:

Mandatory skills:
- Support Design Engineering to identify and qualify second sources electronic parts.
- Track component Life cycles Status.
- Proactively identify and drive solutions to resolve End-of-life (EOL) and obsolete situations and minimize impacts.
- Review and address Product Change Notices (PCN’s) from component manufacturers.
- Ensure components are compliant to necessary environmental and safety standards, e.g. RoHS, REACH, UL, CE, AEC etc
- Review, analyse and optimize Bills of Materials (BOM’s) down to manufacturer part level.

Good to have:
- Familiar with Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA).
- Experience with any PLM tool to handle ECR/ECO.
- Understand component technology roadmaps/trends and presen
