An opportunity in the K–12 education sector serving private and public schools across India. We are hiring on-site Social Science teachers who will deliver curriculum-aligned instruction for middle and secondary grades, build strong classroom culture, and drive measurable learning outcomes.

Location: India • Workplace: On-site • Role: TGT Social Science (Grades 6–10)

Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Social Science lessons (History, Geography, Civics) aligned to CBSE/ICSE/State board syllabi and grade-level objectives.
- Create explicit learning outcomes, design formative and summative assessments, and use results to personalize instruction and close learning gaps.
- Maintain effective classroom management—foster a respectful, inclusive environment that supports student participation and critical thinking.
- Use a variety of pedagogical techniques and digital resources (maps, timelines, presentations, educational apps) to make abstract concepts concrete and memorable.




- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership on curriculum planning, co-curricular activities, and cross-disciplinary projects; participate in staff meetings and training.
- Maintain accurate student records, communicate progress to parents and guardians, and support remedial or enrichment programs as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science/History/Political Science/Geography or related field plus B.Ed (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Proven classroom teaching experience at the middle/secondary level (1–3+ years preferred) with strong subject knowledge across History, Geography and Civics.
- Familiarity with CBSE/ICSE or relevant State board curricula, lesson planning, assessment design and class record maintenance.
