Overview
The Hostess plays a vital role in creating an inviting atmosphere for patrons upon their arrival at a dining establishment. Acting as the face of the restaurant, the Hostess is responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests with a warm welcome, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. In addition to seating customers, this position involves coordinating with the kitchen and service staff to maintain efficient operation flow. Excellent communication skills and a robust customer service orientation are essential, as the Hostess will interact with guests and provide them with necessary information about menu options and services. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests.
- Provide menus and take initial drink orders when appropriate.




- Ensure the waiting area is clean and inviting for guests.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure timely seating and service for guests.
- Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating arrangements as necessary.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of the restaurant's menu, specials, and promotions.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide an outstanding dining experience.
- Participate in team meetings to improve service quality.
- Shift of 11 hours including breaks.

Required Qualifications
- High school and IHM Diploma required for this position.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
