Description

We are looking for an experienced Intershop Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise eCommerce solutions using the Intershop Commerce platform. The role involves working on enhancements, integrations, and production support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and customize applications on Intershop Commerce Management (ICM) platform
- Implement storefront features using ISML, pipelines, and controllers
- Design and develop REST/SOAP-based integrations with external systems (ERP, PIM, payment gateways)
- Work on catalog management, pricing, promotions, cart, and checkout flows
- Debug and resolve production issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks
- Configure and optimize SOLR search and indexing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, QA, DevOps)
- Participate in code reviews, deployment, and release activities
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Qualifications
- Robust Java / J2EE development experience
- Hands-on experience with Intershop ICM platform
- Expertise in:
- ISML (Intershop Markup Language)




- Pipelines / Controller framework
- Good understanding of eCommerce business processes (B2B/B2C)
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Familiarity with SOLR search
- Experience with build tools (Maven/ANT) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps)
Good To have

- Experience with Spring Framework
- Front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Exposure to Intershop PWA / Headless Commerce
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
- Performance tuning and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk)

Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in eCommerce development
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Intershop experience

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field

Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction
