Job Description:

Position: EHS Executive

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Industries: Chemical

Responsibilities:
- Good knowledge of safety management with legal requirements and capability to meet legal compliances.
- Handling etp operations and gpcb liasoning
- Implementation, updating, review and auditing of the company HSE systems.
- Ensure that necessary monitoring and measurement of HSE performance parameters is carried out appropriate investigation and reporting of oh&s; (occupational hazards and safety) incidents, transport incidents and implementation of corrective actions.
- Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate safety and environment system procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in legislation and company directives.
- Provide for motivation and familiarization of all company personnel respecting the importance of complying with company system procedures and all safety equipment provided.
- Assist the commercial,



engineering and operations department in their dealings with clients in all issues concerned with health and safety at work.
- Conduct safety audits.
- Provide technical support to senior management on any safety related subjects.
- Carry out safety audits on sub-contractors.
- Liaise between clients on safety related issues.
- Safety related engineering input into recent projects and modification programs.
- Participate to hazop meetings prior to procurement and installation activities.
- Perform risk assessment.
- Provide safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Prepare and schedule training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.

Required Skills:
- Must be excellent in written and spoken English; net savvy and adept at computer skills.
- Logical thinking.
- Organizing.
