Requirements:
Proven experience as an SQL Database Administrator (DBA), preferably in a production environment.
Strong knowledge of SQL database management and optimization techniques.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing, including setup, configuration, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or other relational database management systems.
Experience in implementing backup and recovery strategies for databases.
Understanding of database security principles and hands-on experience in implementing security measures.
Proficiency in SQL scripting and query optimization.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot database issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.




Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
Snowflake certification (e.g., SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced).
Experience with cloud-based database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database, Google Cloud SQL).
Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
Knowledge of data modeling principles and practices.
Understanding of big data technologies and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
