Position Title: Zonal Head
Department: Retail – X Mart & Select
Objective:
The role aims to drive sustainable business growth by managing the full sales funnel from lead generation to conversion while ensuring strong retail, warranty, and financing performance in backend operations and used car segment. It focuses on maximizing revenue and profitability through strategic planning, commercial insight, and data?driven interventions. The position strengthens financial discipline by improving margins, monitoring breakeven, and ensuring robust governance across commercial processes. Ultimately, it enables consistent business acceleration through analytical decision?making and operational excellence.
Accountability:
- Drive achievement of retail business KPIs across all regional offices within the zone, demonstrating strong business acumen, sales orientation, and result focus.
- Oversee the entire sales tunnel by analysing lead inflow, funnel progression, and conversion ratios to identify gaps, improve lead quality, and drive higher sales conversions.




- Measure and improve the entire sales cycle from lead generation to final closure while delivering retail volumes, warranty adherence, and financing targets through strong market understanding and execution capability.
- Ensure profitability for select business lines by monitoring breakeven, controlling costs, and improving margin performance through strategic interventions.
- Ensure overall revenue delivery by using analytical and commercial insights to design and implement tactical micro?market interventions, applying strong problem?solving and agile decision?making to accelerate business growth.
- Lead, mentor, and review Regional Managers to build people capability, strengthen performance management, and enhance leadership effectiveness across the zone.
- Ensure consistent rollout and adoption of CX initiatives, digital interventions, and marketing campaigns across the zone by leveraging solid change?management skills.
