Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Billing IT organization in Hyderabad, India as a full stack engineer responsible for implementing modern, cutting-edge architectural patterns across the application stack. This hands-on role requires close collaboration with architects and engineering teams to deliver high quality solutions aligned with The Hartford’s technology roadmap. The ideal candidate brings robust experience with Java, Angular, AWS services, Oracle databases, API development, microservices, and event driven architectures, with a demonstrated focus on security, resiliency, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain microservices using Java Spring Boot and API integrations using AWS technologies.




- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, test coverage, and adherence to engineering standards.
- Design and develop modern, user centric UI components following frontend best practices and accessibility guidelines.
- Create and modify Unix jobs that interact with Oracle backends, triage production issues end-to-end, and apply strong debugging skills to rapidly identify root causes and restore service.
- Develop and deploy solutions using AWS cloud services like AWS Lambda.
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, scalability, and performance.
- Participate in Agile development processes, Partner with stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Assist in documenting solutions, processes, and best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement and introduce innovative ideas that bring measurable business impact.
