Job Title: Principal Consultant – Life & Annuity Domain

Job Location: Hyderabad, India (No Remote – Travel as per project requirement)
Qualification: Full-time BE/B.Tech or MCA

Key Responsibilities

-
Provide domain expertise in Life Insurance & Annuity products (Term, Whole Life, Indexed, Flexible).

Lead client engagements including requirements gathering, functional solutioning, and delivery oversight.

Work closely with business analysts, actuaries, and engineers to design solutions compliant with U.S. Taxation & Compliance rules (7702, 7702A, 101(f), etc.).

-
Guide teams through project deliverables, estimations, and documentation.

-
Analyze discrepancies in policy value and compliance calculations and resolve mismatches.

-
Create tools using spreadsheets for actuarial and compliance-related calculations.

-
Lead meetings with stakeholders for prioritization, work intake, and project updates.

Actively contribute to proposal development, client training, and internal capability building.

Work collaboratively with near-shore and offshore teams.

Basic Qualifications

-
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
(3 years of progressive experience may substitute for every year of education.)

Minimum 13 years of experience in life insurance/annuity consulting roles.

Strong knowledge of:

-
Product features, risks, and perks of Life & Annuity products

-
Actuarial modeling, reserving, and valuation techniques

-
US Compliance & Taxation rules (7702, 7702A, 101(f))

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with new business/conversion projects in Life & Annuity domain.

Working knowledge of key actuarial concepts such as:

Cash Value, Death Benefit, TAMRA Premium, DCV, NPT, FMV, CVAT, GPT

Proven ability to translate business needs to technical requirements.

Experience working in global delivery models (onshore/offshore).
