Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master with 8+ years of experience in Agile environments, particularly working with quick-paced, cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on continuous improvement, with a proven track record of using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, and cycle time to drive measurable enhancements in team performance. Experience in the banking or financial services domain is a strong plus. Expertise in JIRA and Confluence is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:




- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Serve as a servant-leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting collaboration, innovation, and ownership.
- Drive continuous improvement by tracking Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) and implementing data-driven enhancements.
- Partner closely with Product Owners to ensure backlogs are well-groomed, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.
- Remove team impediments, shield the team from distractions, and escalate risks or blockers when necessary.
- Standardize Scrum practices and contribute to organizational Agile maturity.
- Ensure high-quality documentation and transparency using JIRA and Confluence (must-have).
- Foster a culture of open communication, feedback, and shared accountability.
