Overview

Working as an integral part of the Technical Analyst team the individual will lead and manage a team of Technical Analysts.

The individual will assist the business with clarifying requirements and identifying alternative solutions. The individual will also be expected to interact with Global Stakeholders to drive the completion of Technical Specifications.

The role will also support the development and testing teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities

Strategic Focus
- Assist in analysing Business Requirement Documents to identify technical solutions in consultation with the Solution Consultants, Snr. Technical Analysts and Onshore Technical Analyst team lead considering all databases, application, business process and system implications.
- Liaise with key Business Stakeholders to provide expertise and to help seek clarification on Business Requirements.
- Be involved in the application design process, ensuring each system component is well written,



performant and ensuring scalability by making applications multi-instance where appropriate.
- Assist in developing solution design that meets business requirements and is understood by Development and Testing Teams.
- Participate in solution decisions discussion with the solution consultants to reach the right solution.
- Investigate and consult on pragmatic alternatives for short, medium- and long-term solutions to a problem.
- Identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures within the team and greater IT group.
- Work and collaborate with third and/or vendor parties to deliver integrated system solutions.
- Be versatile to change and be able to adapt to changing priorities.

Operational Management
- Lead and manage a team of Technical Analysts.
