About this opportunity

The Network Operations Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, maintenance, and support of enterprise network infrastructure. The role ensures high network availability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, incident resolution, network upgrades, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This position plays a key role in delivering reliable network services, supporting customer projects, driving operational excellence, and contributing to network transformation initiatives.

What you will do
- Monitor, operate, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Perform proactive health checks, preventive maintenance, and capacity monitoring to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive actions.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, software patching, firmware updates, and infrastructure lifecycle activities.




- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and load balancers.
- Support customer projects by implementing firewall policy changes, port opening requests, and other network-related changes.
- Coordinate with local support teams for hardware replacement, break-fix activities, RMA management, and in office troubleshooting.
- Participate in change management activities to ensure successful implementation with minimal service impact.
- Support security initiatives, including firewall policy management, vulnerability remediation, and network hardening.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with architecture, security, cloud, and project teams to support network transformation programs.
