Primary Responsibilities:

Design, develop, enhance, test, and deploy Java backend multithreaded streaming applications.

-
Debug and resolve production issues in Java-based applications.

-
Perform Java and third-party library upgrades.

-
Design and implement RESTful APIs with proper resource modeling and verb usage.

-
Build and maintain UI components using Angular.

-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document API specifications.

-
Create API mocks and help enforce API standards and best practices.

-
Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployments using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.

5–6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

Required Technical Skills:

Java 8 & Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring Framework

Multithreading, Logging frameworks

Angular (for UI development)

Kafka or Microsoft EventHub

Azure NoSQL (e.g., Cosmos DB)

Azure Cloud services: AKS, Key Vault, ADLS, Identity Management

API Lifecycle Management: Design, Versioning, Security (AuthN/AuthZ), Publishing

CI/CD pipeline experience

Experience in GitHub or similar version control tools

Unit testing frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, PowerMockito

Experience using GenAI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate development
