Job Description Summary
GA DCS Lead Engineer executes DCS engineering activities for the projects assigned considering the quality/Cost/ time delivery criteria. This role involves planning design activities, managing project design budget, implementing design change process, supervising, and coordinating all engineering activities required to execute the project, whether done in house or by suppliers/subcontractors, and ensuring technical compliance to project specification. The successful candidate will be accountable for the performance of design engineering activities for the project assigned. The successful candidate will coordinate with cross functional teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute the DCS Engineering activities for the projects assigned considering the quality/Cost/ time delivery criteria
- Man-days (MD) estimation for design activities during ITO stage and its control during OTR stage.




- Liaise with other members of a multidisciplinary team to specify and design the project, whilst meeting the required technical standards.
- Control projects effectively in terms of budgeted profitability, planning, and general reporting (internal / external). Ensure that agreements with customer for documentation lead times, delivery, reliability, and quality are achieved within the budgetary constraints agreed within the Unit.
- Manage global time schedule of DCS engineering activities, check coherency of links between engineering activities and other project functions activities (procurement, construction, commissioning) and organize follow up of critical activities of the project.
- Ensure on-time delivery of design to stakeholders with suitable quality including partner documents.
- Participate and contribute to the project multidisciplinary design reviews according to PL procedures and per the project strategy.
