Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Database Developer (PL/SQL) with robust expertise in Oracle database development, data modeling, and database performance optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting database solutions that meet business and application requirements. The role requires hands-on experience in PL/SQL programming, database design, query tuning, and working with large-scale data environments. Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and scripts.
- Develop scalable and high-performance database solutions to support business applications.
- Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Create and maintain database schemas, tables,



indexes, constraints, and other database objects.
- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze and process large volumes of data while ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with application developers, architects, business analysts, and data modelers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Unit Test Plans, and Test Cases.
- Conduct unit testing and support integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployments.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and database development best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
