Overview
The Oracle EBS - SCM (Supply Chain Management) Specialist plays a critical role in enhancing and maintaining the organization's supply chain processes using Oracle E-Business Suite applications. This position is pivotal as it directly impacts the efficiency and effectiveness of inventory management, procurement, and logistics operations. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices in the SCM module. With the growing complexity of supply chains, this role ensures that the organization can leverage Oracle EBS to meet its operational goals, reduce costs, and improve service delivery. The ideal candidate possesses a combination of technical expertise and practical experience in Oracle applications, ensuring that the SCM module is tailored to fit the organizational needs. Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Oracle EBS SCM module to meet business requirements.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for developers.
- Develop and document test plans, scenarios, and scripts for SCM module testing.
- Conduct user training and create user manuals for the SCM processes.
- Support data migration activities from legacy systems to Oracle EBS SCM.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for SCM-related issues.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SCM with other Oracle modules and third-party applications.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track supply chain metrics.
