What's the role?
As a software Engineer in Urban mobility service team you will:
- Develop and evaluate new algorithms to enhance transit system with more richer and accurate attributes.
- Design and Implement tools to enhance automated transit processing systems, involving backend/service-based software stacks, but also dashboard components for data tracking and analysis.
- Own and drive technical excellence and in-depth solutions in an innovative and fast-paced workplace
- Work with other engineering teams and internal customers to identify new opportunities, address critical needs, and solve complex problems using your development expertise
- Drive initiatives that contribute to the development of software that is efficient, reusable, and reliable (e.g. agile, coding, verification)
- Be part of an agile team, share knowledge, carry out code reviews
- Mentor and support juniors
Who are you?
You are an experienced engineer with deep expertise in building back-end systems who can work independently in complex situations as well as lead others to solve challenging problems and find innovative solutions.In addition you have:
- Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar technical degree
- 6 to 12 years of relevant professional experience with Strong competence in GoLang or Python
- Expertise in Designing new system which meets both functional and non-functional requirements
- Proven track record of having designed and deployed large-scale & low latency cloud-based systems
- Ability to communicate complex solutions with technical and non-technical colleagues
- Extensive knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Familiarity and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, GitHub, Gerrit, etc.
- Experience in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, etc.
- Hands-on experience deploying software using container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
- Willingness to actively engage in DevOps tasks and occasional on-call
