Job Description Summary
The Steam Plant Power Service (SPPS) is one of P&L; within Power Service Region India footprint and is responsible for growth of Market Share, backlog & profitability in aftersales market of Steam Plants.

The Boiler Field Services-TFA, is a key role in the SPPS Team where you will have significant opportunity to demonstrate your strategic, creative problem-solving, technical, communication and process skills in a complex, global and fast-paced environment.

Candidate will be accountable for successful execution of the Boiler service project assigned to him in a lead role for a complex site execution project. He will have to work with cross-functional resources/teams to deliver results, lead long-term planning for the successful site execution of the project, manage complex issues including technical solutions.

Candidate will be deputed at job-site as a Site Lead and report to the Boiler Field Service Head in Region India based out of Kolkata/Noida/Chennai/Nagpur /Mumbai.

Roles and Responsibilities




- Plan and execute the assigned Boiler projects within the specified time line related to erection & commissioning, inspection, trouble-shooting, especially R&M; or upgrade type of jobs.
- Should have working experience in Combustion improvement related Modification/Upgrade jobs. These jobs will have to be carried out in existing units and with in-depth planning of carrying out pre-shutdown and shutdown jobs as outage time will be for a fixed duration and job to be completed within outage. Experience in executing big and complex Boiler projects as a site-leader will be considered as an key criteria for selection for this post.
- Fully conversant with safety interlocks related to Burner Management System (BMS) or Furnace Safeguard Supervisory system (FSSS), Combustion Modification tuning requirement for NOx control.
