Job Summary

The Lead Engineer – Transport Planning & Traffic Engineering is a key member of the Transport Planning & Traffic Engineering team within the Design Center. The role involves developing traffic demand analyses, transportation master plans, traffic impact studies, and road safety assessments for projects of moderate complexity.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data collection and traffic surveys (traffic counts, travel demand data, etc.) in coordination with project teams.
- Support the development of traffic demand models and network simulations for transportation planning and traffic engineering studies.
- Work with traffic modelers to develop trip generation forecasts, origin–destination matrices, and traffic volume analyses.
- Develop and analyze traffic modeling scenarios and operational assessments.
- Prepare circulation plans, parking layouts, and traffic signage drawings for transportation projects.
- Contribute to transportation master planning and mobility strategy studies.
- Prepare Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) reports and transportation planning study reports.




- Assist in validating and reviewing traffic impact studies with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
- Perform peer reviews of design deliverables produced by other teams.
- Review and provide guidance on technical outputs prepared by junior engineers and analysts.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

Experience & Qualification

10 – 13 years of industry experience in transportation planning and traffic engineering.

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Master’s Degree in Transport Planning, Traffic Engineering, Traffic Management, or related field (preferred).
