Job Description:

Position: Purchase Executive

Location: Shirwal - Pune

Experience: 4 - 7 years

Industries: Engineering

Responsibilities:

Execute purchase orders for raw materials, components, standard bought out items,

consumables, tools, and spares.

Source and develop approved vendors as per engineering and quality requirements.

Obtain and compare quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate prices.

Ensure on-time delivery of materials with required TCs as per production planning.

-
Ensure traceability of material against TC & coordinate with supplier for issues reported.

-
Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments.

-
Track purchase orders and follow up for pending deliveries.

-
Verify material specifications, drawings, and BOQ before placing orders.

-
Ensure compliance with ISO / QMS procedures.

-
Handle vendor evaluation and performance rating.

-
Resolve supplier quality, quantity, and delivery issues.

Coordinate for logistics & unloading of materials

Maintain accurate purchase records, MIS, and documentation.
- Support cost reduction and localization initiatives.
- Ensure statutory and commercial compliance (GST, delivery terms, payment terms).

Required Skills:
- Knowledge of engineering materials, drawings, BOMs
- Robust negotiation and vendor handling skills
- ERP / SAP / Tally / Oracle exposure
- Understanding of GST, Incoterms, payment terms
- Communication and coordination skills
- Analytical and cost-conscious mindset

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary: - Up to 6.00 LPA
