Job Description:

Job Overview: The QA Lead will oversee the Quality Assurance team, ensuring that all products meet high standards of quality and reliability. This role involves creating and executing test plans, leading automation efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvements within QA processes. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in software quality assurance, solid technical skills, and proven leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers to ensure effective project delivery.
- Define QA strategy, approach, and execution across development projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Drive quality initiatives, focusing on continuous process improvement within the QA function.

Test Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases.
- Oversee manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring thorough coverage and efficient execution.




- Coordinate and manage all testing phases, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing.
- Monitor and report on test execution progress, identifying and addressing risks early.

Automation & Tools
- Lead automation initiatives to expand test coverage and streamline testing processes.
- Select, implement, and manage appropriate testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG).
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay current with advancements in test automation and integrate best practices.

Defect Management & Analysis
- Manage the defect lifecycle, from detection and reporting to resolution and verification.
- Conduct root cause analysis on critical issues and collaborate with development for quick resolution.
