Position Overview
The Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Agri Procurement will lead the end-to-end procurement function for agricultural inputs, farm infrastructure materials, engineering consumables, operational supplies, and agriculture-related services across multiple business locations.
This is a strategic leadership role requiring robust commercial acumen, supply chain expertise, vendor management capability, and operational excellence. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing robust procurement systems, driving cost optimization, ensuring uninterrupted supply across geographically dispersed operations, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, governance, compliance, and procurement efficiency.
The role demands experience in handling high-volume, multi-category procurement operations in a fast-paced and process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement Leadership




- Lead centralized procurement operations for multiple agricultural and operational locations.
- Develop and execute long-term procurement strategies aligned with organizational growth plans and operational requirements.
- Drive procurement planning for seasonal and annual agricultural cycles across regions.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of critical materials and services while optimizing overall procurement cost and working capital.

Multi-Location Procurement Management
- Manage procurement operations across multiple states/regions/sites with standardized systems and controls.
- Ensure effective coordination with regional operations teams for forecasting, material planning, and inventory control.
- Establish centralized procurement frameworks while ensuring regional operational flexibility.
- Monitor location-wise procurement efficiency.
