We are looking for a skilled Big Data Engineer with expertise in various Big Data tools and ecosystems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Impala. A strong proficiency in programming languages like Scala, Java, and Python is essential for designing and implementing data processing pipelines.
The candidate should also have a deep understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres, with the ability to integrate them into large-scale data architectures. A solid knowledge of data warehousing techniques is crucial, particularly with tools that handle stream and batch processing, such as Kafka and Flink.
While not mandatory, experience with cloud platforms and related technologies is a plus. Familiarity with cloud-native data solutions and services would be highly beneficial in building scalable, flexible, and cost-effective Big Data solutions.
