We are looking for a developing Solution Architect who enjoys design work, stakeholder engagement, and turning delivery activity into supportable services. This role is suited to someone who has already contributed to solution designs and wants to further build their architecture career across cloud, service transition, vendor delivery, and operational readiness. It is not a hands-on engineering role; the focus is on design quality by ensuring effective documentation, governance, vendor engagement,



and ensuring new services can be successfully supported after go-live by effective design.
The Opportunity
In this role you will:
Support the design of new IT services across the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements and design through to build review, release readiness, handover, and early-life support.
Embed non-functional requirements into solution designs, including availability, capacity, performance, security, monitoring, disaster recovery, recoverability, etc.
Produce, review, and maintain design documentation, ensuring solutions are clearly described, traceable to requirements, and suitable for transition into IT support.
Produce and review architecture artefacts including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and design decisions to support delivery and operational readiness.
Assess vendor and internal delivery artefacts to confirm alignment with approved designs, cloud standards, security expectations, and operati
