Job description
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies. Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
- Project Coordination: Oversee the progress of cybersecurity projects, including incident response, detection engineering, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) deployment and POCs, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
- Remove Roadblocks: Identify and address any impediments that may hinder the teams progress. Work with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and remove obstacles.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the cybersecurity team and stakeholders. Ensure clear and transparent communication of project status, risks, and issues.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the cybersecurity team. Encourage knowledge sharing and support team members in achieving their goals.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with cybersecurity projects.
Work with the team to develop mitigation strategies and ensure that risks are addressed proactively.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations. Ensure that the cybersecurity solutions meet the needs of the organization.
- Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project delivery, team performance, and overall project health.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement practices within the team by facilitating retrospectives and encouraging experimentation with new processes and tools.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in cybersecurity or a related field. Familiarity with incident response, detection engineering, EDR deployment, and other cybersecurity operations is highly desirable.
