Senior Fashion House Retail Merchandiser

Experienced merchandiser with a minimum of 5 – 7 years experience in a fashion design house (not export or buying house), preferably one that offers both Indian/ethnic and contemporary western clothing.

EXPORT experience is NOT relevant to this position.

The candidate must have strong leadership abilities and be an effective communicator.

We are looking for somebody self-motivated. Strong managerial skills

Responsibilities include:

Must have experience with EBOs and India's leading MBOs

Managing a team of EBO and MBO merchandisers.
Generating purchase orders
Travelling within India for trunk shows / promotions.

Working closely with design team to provide guidance on seasonal collections.

Responsibility for costing of collections.

Coordinating with production department to insure that PO's are produced on time.

Solid Excel Skills are required.
