About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Head Fashion Designer with over 10 - 15 years of experience to lead the design function across Menswear, Ladieswear, and Kids categories. The role requires strong leadership capabilities along with expertise in fashion trends, product development, fabric selection, and category management for a large retail organization.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall design strategy and seasonal collection development across assigned categories.
Drive innovation and trend direction aligned with brand positioning and customer demand.
Manage and mentor the design team for effective execution and timely delivery.
Oversee product development from concept to final production.




Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, buying, and production teams for range planning and execution.
Ensure design collections meet commercial, quality, and margin objectives.
Conduct market research, trend forecasting, and competitor analysis.
Review and approve design artworks, samples, fabrics, trims, and fit standards.
Develop strong vendor coordination for fabric sourcing and product development.
Prepare and present seasonal concepts and category plans to management.

Qualifications

Graduate/Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing from a recognized institute.

Required Skills

Strong Product Knowledge in retail fashion categories.
Excellent Fabric Knowledge including sourcing, development, and innovation.
Advanced proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator.
