About the opportunity
Join our Embedded Payments team as Sr. Software Engineer in Test in India to make a real impact every day. Reporting into the Director of Software Engineering, you will join a QA team that already has strong Playwright-based automation in place and a clear engineering direction. You won’t be figuring it out alone — you’ll work within a structure led by a Sr.
Software Engineer in Test who owns the framework architecture and sets the technical standard, with a Sr. QA Automation Engineer driving execution coverage alongside you.
This role is for someone with solid automation fundamentals who is ready to grow into test engineering. You’ll contribute to the framework, build out API and async test coverage, run load test scenarios, and collaborate closely with the Sr. SET to develop the skills and habits that define a strong test engineer.
Our platform is a cloud-native, event-driven payment orchestration system processing high transaction volumes across multiple clients and acquirers. Load testing and async workflow validation are not edge cases here — they are core to how we define done.
