‘FACOR’ a unit of Vedanta Limited, is one of India’s leading producer and exporter of Ferro Chrome, an essential ingredient to produce stainless steel and specialty steels. It is a fully Integrated business of 150 KTPA Ferro-Chrome production capacity with 1.65 MTPA ROM Production along with 6 Own Mines and a 100 MW Power Plant.



With 4X growth vision for Ferro Chrome production operating both at open cast and underground mines and 1.5 MTPA Capacity Chrome Ore Beneficiation Plant, the Organization provides exciting growth prospects for aspiring young leaders and high potentials to take up Significant Leadership roles.

Experience: Minimum 15 years of working experience in underground metal mining operations, preferably in chrome ore mines.
Qualification: B. Tech/B.E. in Mining Engineering with a First-Class Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Underground, Metal) issued by DGMS.

The Successful Candidate:
Lead underground mine operations ensuring compliance with MMR 1961 and DGMS statutory requirements.
Plan and supervise day-to-day mining activities in collaboration with geology, planning, and safety teams.
Drive operational efficiency, safety excellence, and cost optimization through best mining practices.
