Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer (Snowflake Specialist) with over 7 years of hands-on
experience to lead the development of our enterprise data infrastructure. In this role, you will
architect, build, and optimize scalable, end-to-end data pipelines that ingest, transform, and
serve critical public sector data assets. Working directly on-site at our Bengaluru delivery center,
you will leverage Snowflake and multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure) to deliver robust data
layers that power business intelligence, advanced analytics, and strategic reporting across the
organization.
Key Responsibilities
Architect & Modernize Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain high-throughput end-to
end batch and streaming ELT/ETL pipelines to ingest data from APIs, event streams,
legacy flat files, and relational/NoSQL databases into Snowflake.
Engineered Transformations: Develop complex data transformations and business logic
using Snowflake SQL, Python, User-Defined Functions (UDFs), and stored procedures
tailored for enterprise-scale processing.
Optimize Snowflake Infrastructure:



Spearhead Snowflake performance management
and platform cost governance through query tuning, dynamic warehouse sizing, micro
partition clustering, and automated resource monitoring.
Implement Tiered Data Modeling: Design and implement scalable data architectures
across staging, curated, and consumption layers to support BI toolsets, ad-hoc analytics,
and enterprise reporting demands.
Automate Cloud Data Flow: Configure automated continuous ingestion workflows using
Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, and cloud-native orchestration tools integrated with AWS
and Azure storage and messaging services.
Champion Platform Governance: Enforce public-sector level security protocols, data
quality frameworks, operational reliability standards, and contemporary CI/CD data pipeline
deployment methodologies.
