Purpose/Objective
- To set an overall design vision for City Side projects.
- Responsible for comprehensive design activities for all CSD projects across all phases from concept, site analysis, identification/ selection of consultants and architects, and adherence to specified timelines, budget and quality standards in alignment with the design intent during the entire lifecycle of the projects.
- Overall integration with Airport Master Plan and infrastructure.

Strategic
- Conceptualize projects based on strategic direction of the business.
- Provide inputs to identify appropriate products in different segments with respect to regulatory and test fits etc.
- Drive the design efforts by articulating key design elements in line with market / segment requirements and develop the design concepts for various segments.
- Build and grow the technological base and initiate strategic technical initiatives to give CSD business a competitive edge in terms of cost, design, technology, and customer experience.
- Identify and engage strategic partners for design initiatives.




- Integrate sustainability into CSD design and ensure compliance to international sustainability and workplace standards.
- Implement robust project review mechanism both qualitatively and quantitively, design quality process, design standards both at technical and software levels.

Technical
- Responsible and lead entire design process Concept to issue of GFC s.
- Responsible for the overall Design budget and allocation of the same for various phases of projects and ensure adherence to the budgetary allocation for each designed element during the project lifecycle.
- Identify and evaluate consultants for various roles such as Structural consultants, Service consultants etc. by framing pre-qualification criteria and finalizing the scope, terms and conditions of Contracts.
- Oversee the Design brief and Concept Development cycle from the design perspective.
