Senior Software Engineer – Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) - Pega, .NET & Integration

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Deloitte Tax in India’s Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC). In this role, you will design, build, and support scalable enterprise applications and integrations that help enable workflow automation, platform modernization, and business process transformation. The role offers the opportunity to work across Pega, .NET, APIs, microservices, and event-driven technologies in a product-led engineering workplace. Experience with AI-enabled engineering, cloud technologies, and modern workflow platforms will be viewed favorably.

Work you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Global Employer Services Technology Center (GESTC) team, you will be responsible for:

Design, develop, and support workflow automation solutions using Pega, including case management, business rules, and integrations
Build and enhance enterprise applications and services using .NET, .NET Core, C#, REST APIs,



microservices, and event-driven technologies such as Kafka
Own technical activities for assigned modules, including estimation, design, development, code review, unit testing, deployment support, and production issue resolution
Troubleshoot production defects, improve application performance and stability, and support engineering, security, and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) standards
Collaborate with product, architecture, and delivery teams to contribute to reusable platform components, modernization efforts, and mentoring of junior engineers
