Roles & responsibilities
As an Associate Consultant in our team you will be responsible, amongst other
things for:
•Supporting in the delivery of infrastructure valuation projects for sectors
such as power & utilities, transportation & social infrastructure
•Support in developing and reviewing detailed financial models and perform
in-depth financial analysis using various valuation methodologies (Public
company analysis, Precedent transaction analysis, and Discounted cash flow)
•Support in preparing high-quality client deliverables, including clear
Valuation reports and presentations
•Understanding the delivery models applied to the infrastructure projects
lifecycle across construction, operations, financing & refinancing phases
•Support in monitoring market trends, regulatory developments and transaction
comparable in the infrastructure sector and benchmark valuation assumptions
(discount rates, risk premiums, multiples)
using market data
•Support in actively building and managing the relationships and interface with
Global KPMG Infrastructure teams and other deal advisory professionals
•Supporting KPMG onshore teams and contributing to knowledge management to
support practice development
Educational qualifications
•MBA / PGDBM / CFA/CA
Prior experience
•Relevant experience (1-2 years) gained in either Valuations, Corporate Finance,
Infrastructure Investment, Fund-raising, Project Finance or similar deal
experience in the relevant sector/ propositions (as applicable)
Mandatory technical & functional skills
•Good understanding of valuation methodologies (Comparable company, Precedent
transaction, DCF, etc.)
•Be skilled in valuation and financial analysis
•Basic experience in financial modelling
•Valuable report writing skills
•Financial analysis and interpretation, in particular DCF methods (NPV and IRR)
