To carry out installation, operation, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations while complying with electrical safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment in the distillery, bottling, utilities, and warehouse.
Maintain motors, pumps, MCC panels, PCC panels, VFDs, transformers, switchgears, and control panels.
Attend electrical breakdowns and restore equipment within the minimum possible time.
Install and commission electrical equipment, cables, lighting, and control systems.
Inspect electrical systems regularly and identify potential faults.
Maintain DG sets, UPS systems, compressors, and utility electrical systems.
Assist in calibration and maintenance of electrical instruments and control devices.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and wiring diagrams.
Ensure proper earthing, cable management, and electrical housekeeping.
Maintain electrical logbooks, maintenance records, and checklists.




Coordinate with production and maintenance teams during shutdowns and maintenance activities.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
Support energy conservation initiatives and monitor power consumption.
Follow all statutory requirements under the Electricity Act, Factory Rules, and company safety procedures.

Qualification

ITI Electrician (Mandatory)
Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)

Experience

ITI: 3–6 years in a distillery, brewery, alcohol, chemical, FMCG, or process industry.
Diploma: 2–5 years in industrial electrical maintenance.
