BI &Data; Analysis : Role summary
Lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise BI solutions that power decision-making across functions. You ll own semantic models, data pipelines, and Power BI ecosystems end-to-end partnering with business stakeholders, mentoring developers, and driving automation, performance, and trust in data. The ideal candidate blends hands-on technical depth with solid communication, a growth mindset,
and readiness to take on new challenges.
Experience
Minimum: Around 5 years in BI, data analytics, or data engineering roles with significant hands-on delivery.
BTech/MTech/master s degree in computer science/data Science/ Statistics, or a related field.
Qualifications and skills required
Power BI expertise
Data modelling (star/snowflake), DAX, measures, calculation groups, hierarchies, relationships.
Performance tuning (VertiPaq optimization, aggregations, composite models, DirectQuery, incremental refresh).
Dataset and report development, deployment pipelines, workspace/admin tasks, gateways, monitoring.
Security: Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS).
SQL and database skills
Advanced T-SQL; writing and optimizing complex queries, views, stored procedures, and indexes.
Hands-on with SQL Server using SSMS; query tuning and indexing strategies.
