What you'll do:
As a Mechanical Group Leader, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering key engineering and process developments for mechanical equipment and systems used in strip processing lines. You'll lead a team, ensuring top-quality designs, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency, while always seeking innovative ways to improve functionality and reduce costs.
Job Purpose:
- Plan and deliver key engineering and process development for mechanical equipment and systems for strip processing lines, enabling operational excellence and supporting the organization's growth objectives.

- Lead and plan engineering activities for the team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the technical contract requirements and develop basic and detailed designs.
- Lead a team of engineers and draftsmen to carry out engineering activities.




- Plan engineering activities for projects and manage resource allocation.
- Ensure timely completion of activities .
- Perform design calculations .
- Prepare 3D models, related drawings, and other engineering documentation .
- Generate bought-out specifications and approve offers received from suppliers.
- Ensure the correctness of drawings .
- Coordinate with manufacturing for discrepancies and deviations.
- Coordinate with Erection and Commissioning for site support.
- Understand process requirements, define necessary instruments, and develop process instrumentation diagrams (P&ID;) .
- Coordinate and manage all engineering design activities across internal teams and external service providers.
- Ensure the best available technology is used in equipment.
- Communicate with customers and participate in technical discussions.
- Be proactive in continuous improvement and REX (return on experience) processes
