Job Description

As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering, you will serve as a subject matter expert on multiplatform applications and determine a course of action under the direction of systems leadership. You’ll direct the system development lifecycle, including the design, coding, testing, documentation, installation, maintenance, and support of software systems and applications.

What You Will Do

Manage team(s) that develop,



implement, and maintain highly complex proprietary and/or purchased software systems in support of the wealth management and retirement solutions businesses
Manage systems performance and quality assurance testing policies and procedures
Assign teams and individual staff to projects of varying scope. Assist business leaders and business systems analysts with an Agile process of prioritizing and structuring work so that teams deliver business value in frequent and regular increments
Mentor and coach engineering associates within the organization, providing guidance and growth opportunities
Establish and maintain procedures and best practices by which subordinates operate. Bear responsibility for team performance and overall success of assigned projects
Work with associated line of business leaders to maintain and support systems
Ensure owned systems are functioning optimally and meeting business
