Your tasks
* Assuring of Robust, Cost-effective and quality designs in time for the Drives
product area.
* Assuring compliance to the specifications according to internal and external
guidelines.
* Liaise with Product groups in Headquarters to understand specific Design
requests.
* Independently think and create Design concepts (3D & 2D layouts) to meet
customer/internal product demands in line with Brose Design guidelines.
* Independent execution of basic technical calculations (e.g. GD &T;, Stack-up)
and simulations (e.g. deformation, loading, kinematics).
* Initiation of more complex calculations together with specialists (e.g. FEA,
Mold flow) and interpretation of results together with specialists.
* Ability to interact independently with suppliers to create prototypes to
verify generated new design concepts.
* Ability to define/dictate Test and Measurement methods to verify the
prototypes from the supplier.
* Collaboration at creation and enhancement of Design FMEAs.
* Possess Positive understanding of manufacturing processes and construction
methods about Automotive Drives & Actuator systems.
* Possess broad knowledge about materials used for Drives & Actuator systems
and its components (e.g. Plastic, Sheet metal, Aluminium Die-cast).
* Ensuring of continuous room for improvement: Gaining and documentation of
results (e.g. Feedback from customers, benchmarking, contacts from fairs,
return of know-how from products in series production) and assuring
implementation in future developments
Your Profile
* 3-7 Years experience in Design and development of Drives/Actuator systems.
Experience in Automotive Industry preferred.
* Proficient in CATIA-V5, EV6.
* Proficient
