Position Summary

We are seeking an energetic, industry-aligned Assistant Professor of Digital Marketing to shape the next generation of marketing professionals. This role goes beyond traditional lectures—we are looking for an educator/practitioner who can bridge academic theory with real-world campaign execution, integrate AI-driven marketing tools, and build robust industry bridges for our students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Experiential Teaching & Pedagogy (50%)
Deliver dynamic, practical sessions on core and advanced Digital Marketing topics (SEO/SEM, Performance Marketing, Social Media Strategy, Content Creation, and Web Analytics).
Introduce cutting-edge trends, including AI tools in marketing (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Jasper), marketing automation, and programmatic advertising.
Conduct lab-based practicals, real-time campaign setups, and live-budget project simulations.
2. Mentorship & Portfolio Building (20%)
Guide students in building job-ready portfolios, certifications (Google, Hubspot, Meta), and personal branding.
Mentor students for national marketing competitions,



live projects, and freelancing/entrepreneurship initiatives.
3. Industry Engagement & Placement Enablement (20%)
Collaborate with the institutional placement team to connect students with internships and entry-level digital roles.
Invite guest speakers, organize industry workshops, and host masterclasses with agency leaders and growth hackers.
4. Academic & Curriculum Development (10%)
Continually update the digital marketing syllabus to keep pace with rapid industry shifts.
Participate in departmental meetings, accreditation support, and campus events.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Academic Requirements:
Master’s Degree: MBA / PGDM / M.Com / M.Sc. in Digital Marketing, Marketing, or related field with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
Ph.D. / NET / SET: Candidates with a Ph.D. or UGC-NET/SET qualification will be preferred (in accordance with institutional guidelines).
