Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and perform the assembly of heavy machinery using hand tools, power tools, EOT cranes, WT cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures to ensure accurate assembly.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and maintain assembly check sheets.
- Identify defects or non-conformities, raise NCs, and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate assembly records, production logs, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and maintain a clean and organized workplace.
- Coordinate with assemblers, technicians, engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve assembly quality, productivity, and efficiency.





Required Skills
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
- 3 to 7 years of experience in heavy machinery or industrial equipment assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, EOT cranes, WT cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
- Knowledge of quality inspection, assembly documentation, and NC (Non-Conformance) processes.
- Good problem-solving, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Basic computer skills for viewing drawings and updating production reports.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, overtime, and a manufacturing workplace.
- Willingness to relocate to Kanchipuram.
