Position title - Assistant General Manager – Marketing

Team size (direct reports) 1–3 (to be built out)

2. ROLE BRIEF

Role summary (1–2 lines) Own and grow the BlueLines brand pan-India and lead the launch of a new
brand from the ground up — brand, digital, product and dealer/retail
marketing. A pure marketing role (no direct sales target), working alongside
the sales team.

Key responsibilities 1. Launch a recent brand end-to-end — naming, logo, brand identity and

asset creation, through to market kick-off
2. Brand strategy and pan-India brand building for BlueLines
3. Digital marketing — website, social, SEO/SEM, performance campaigns,
lead generation
4. Product marketing and collateral — catalogues, datasheets, new-product
launches
5. Dealer/retail marketing (outlet branding, signage, POP/POS), exhibitions,
dealer meets, agency & budget management
Skill 1 — Technical Digital & performance marketing




Skill 2 — Domain Brand building & new-brand launch (from scratch)
Skill 3 — Behavioural Marketing communication & storytelling

3. CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION (→ feeds the agency JD)
Qualification — Must-have MBA / PGDM in Marketing (full-time preferred)
Qualification — Good-to-have Technical/engineering graduation; digital-marketing certifications (Google /

Meta / HubSpot)

Experience (years + industry) 10–15 years in marketing within a B2B manufacturing company
Must-have screening filters 1. 10–15 years marketing in a B2B manufacturing company

2. Has launched at least one brand from scratch — naming, logo/identity,
assets, go-to-market
3. Hands-on ownership of both brand-building and digital marketing (not a
pure field-sales profile)
4. Team-leadership experience
